Black History at the Winter Olympics Part 2

BLACK HISTORY MONTH – PART 2

Annnnnddddd we are back!

Working on the second episode was fun and like a throwback to a history that is small but also compact.

We had a great time walking back into 1960 which was the first time an African team was at the Winter Olympics to 2022.

What I found most interesting is the resilience to thrive, to be, to grow, to take part, and to do. Every African athlete who found a way to compete in an Olympics sports that nature has rigged to be against their nature are heroes of some sort. It takes great courage and respect for their art and science to do what they’ve done and are doing. In our little way, I hope you see through our eyes and what we’ve tried to describe the things that make me formidable and phenomenal.
